| I did the pen & ink drawings of the background and plane separately to give me some flexibility late in the concept. I scanned the background into Photoshop and did the same with the plane. Working with two separate layers I dropped the plane over the background which allowed me to place it wherever I wanted and to resize the plane exactly as needed. Once I was happy, the composite was output to a printer. Using a copy projector the design was transferred onto the watercolor paper and traced lightly with a pencil. Finally I was ready to begin! |
